I am participated in an online swap where we had to use a Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp and have at least 10 charms along with some lace on the clasp. I thought and thought for a while about what I had and trying to remember if I had enough stuff to make them without having to go buy more. Remember, I'm trying to save up for the new CHA goodies. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I did have everything I needed and then some. I sat down to make a video of one and ended up finishing all of them tonight. I'm very happy with the way they turned out. I only had to make 3 for the swap but since I was on a roll I decided to make one for myself also. I love the way it turned out and I found the perfect place for it. I'm using it on the end of my stylus for my gypsy. I think I'll make some more either as gifts or to sell.
Check out my YouTube videos
Part 1 and
Part 2 to see how I made them.

Here is the one that I made for myself. Already attached to my stylus, yeah! |
Here are the others that I made individually

Here is the third one that I made. |

Here is the second one that I made. I added an extra charm since they were so small. |

Here is the one that I made in my youtube video. |
Here they are all together. These are the ones that will be swapped.

When I add the lace I'll take another photo for you all to see the finished product. |
Thanks for stopping by.
Oh! I love these!!!! I want one for my Gypsy too! Wonder if I have anything useful laying around? Those clasps are too cute! I think I have seen something very similar in the fishing department - maybe I there is one in my husbands tackle box LOL Off to raid his stuff . . . .
ReplyDeleteHey, they turned really nice! Is there anything you can't do? You keep surprising me with all the cool stuff you keep doing.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful, Kate!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for the nice comments. Jade, they are definitely in the fishing department, they just don't have a long chain on them and are smaller but you could add a bunch of jump rings and get the same effect. This was a good way to use up some of my stash.
